According to domestic media reports, there are recent rumors that KE is initiating large-scale layoffs, involving multiple business lines such as product research, operations, and back-office support, with reports suggesting an overall ratio as high as 30%. The management level of P8 and above is expected to be reduced by 50%-60%, with a compensation plan of "N+4" (i.e., compensation of N months' salary based on years of service plus an additional four months).
Data shows that in the first half of 2025, the total number of KE employees will decrease by approximately 3,000, accounting for about 2.4% of the total number of employees at the end of the period. As of the end of June this year, there were a total of 131,881 employees.
