StoneX lowers sugar production in Central-South Brazil

StoneX has lowered its forecast for sugar production in the central-south region of Brazil for the 2026/27 harvest season from the previous 42.1 million tons to 41.5 million tons. According to StoneX's predictions, sugar mills will use 50.6% of the sugarcane for sugar production in the 2026/27 harvest season, an increase of 3.3% compared to the 2025/26 harvest season.
