Among the constituents of the index, nine stocks rose, 15 stocks fell, and six stocks remained unchanged.
The biggest gainer, OCBC Bank, rose 0.69% to 18.9 yuan; SATS rose 0.59% to 3.4 yuan; ST Engineering rose 0.49% to 8.28 yuan.
The biggest loser, Wilmar International, fell 1.56% to 3.15 yuan; other declining stocks fell between 0.06% and 0.87%.
