The first all-cargo flight route at Hainan Qionghai Boao Airport is officially opened
Hainan Holdings' "Qionghai Boao International Airport" has officially launched its first "regular all-cargo flight route" on Monday (1st).
The route is operated by "JD Airlines" using Boeing 737-800 all-cargo aircraft, with plans to operate five flights per week, with a one-way effective carrying capacity of 20 tons, establishing an "aerial expressway" between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port.
According to publicly available information, the bidirectional flow of the route includes the transportation of electronic components, production materials, and other general cargo from Shenzhen to Boao, supporting the industrial development of Hainan; while the focus of the return trip from Boao to Shenzhen is to carry fresh vegetables and fruits, achieving same-day delivery of high-quality agricultural products from Hainan to the Shenzhen market
