US - Glenfarne signs Macquarie for Texas LNG

Glenfarne signed a 20-year agreement with Macquarie Energy for 0.5m tonnes/year of LNG from its Texas LNG project, converting a previous non-binding agreement. This, along with other agreements, moves Texas LNG closer to a final investment decision, targeted by year-end. The project, estimated at $3.5bn, has received construction authorization and is expected to complete by November 2029. Kiewit will handle engineering and construction.
