Spy shots reveal Zeekr 8X SUV as debut delayed to next year

Zeekr's 8X hybrid SUV debut has been delayed to the first quarter of next year, with pricing starting at RMB 400,000 ($56,580). Originally planned for Q4 2025, the delay is due to prioritizing other model facelifts. The 8X will feature a tri-motor powertrain and 6C ultra-fast charging. Zeekr's 9X, launched in September, is the first hybrid model on the SEA-S platform, with over 10,000 deliveries in two months. Zeekr Group reported a significant reduction in Q3 net loss due to rising sales and falling costs.

The model is the first built on Zeekr's SEA-S platform, featuring a 2.0T hybrid engine and utilizing a 900-volt hybrid high-voltage architecture.
Its battery pack offers 55 kWh and 70 kWh options, delivering up to 380 kilometers of CLTC range and supporting 6C charging rate.
