<div id="readability-page-1"><div><p>Private equity firm EQT has announced an investment in the Australian cloud-based company Propertyme, according to a press release.</p><p>  Propertyme is utilized by more than 6,000 real estate agents who manage approximately 1.9 million rental properties across Australia and New Zealand, representing a total annual turnover of about $40 billion. Of this, $2.4 billion is processed directly through the company's own payment platform, Mepay.</p><p>  Following the transaction, EQT will become the majority owner of Propertyme. The founders will retain a minority stake in the company.</p><p>It was also announced that Brian Donn will assume the role of CEO in January 2026.</p></div></div>
