
Microsoft will increase the prices of its Office applications for businesses and government
Microsoft (MSFT.US) announced on Thursday that it will increase the global prices of its Microsoft 365 office applications for business and government customers starting in July 2026, with increases of up to 16.7%.
Among them, the price of Microsoft 365 Business Basic will rise by 16.7% to $7 per user per month; the price of Business Standard will increase by 12% to $14. The price increases for enterprise plans are smaller, with Microsoft 365 E3 rising by 8.3% and E5 by 5.3%. The company stated that the price increase reflects the addition of over 1,100 new features in Microsoft 365, including AI-driven productivity tools and integrated security enhancements
