The three major indices of A-shares in Shanghai and Shenzhen are relatively stable, resource stocks perform well, and Moore Threads' first listing rises by more than four times

The central parity rate of the Renminbi against the US dollar was lowered by 16 points today, reported at 7.0749 per US dollar.

The People's Bank of China today (5th) conducted a seven-day reverse repurchase operation of 139.8 billion Renminbi (the same below) in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 301.3 billion Renminbi of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net withdrawal of 161.5 billion Renminbi for the day. On the same day, the central bank conducted a 1 trillion Renminbi buyout reverse repurchase operation with a term of 91 days.

The three major indices of A-shares fluctuated slightly and trading was light. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,878 points, up 3 points or 0.08%, with a trading volume of 407.5 billion Renminbi; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 13,057 points, up 50 points or 0.4%, with a trading volume of 585.2 billion Renminbi; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,082 points, up 14 points or 0.5%, with a trading volume of 266.1 billion Renminbi.

Domestic bank stocks were slightly weak, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) each down 0.9%. In addition, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) rose 0.3%. BYD Company Limited (002594.SZ) fell 0.4%.

Domestic property stocks were subdued, with Vanke A (000002.SZ) down 2.8%. Moreover, China Evergrande Group (601155.SH) fell another 1.8%.

Gold and resource-related stocks rose, with Zijin Mining (601899.SH), SD-GOLD (600547.SH), Zhongjin Gold (600489.SH), and Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining (600988.SH) rising by 1% to 2%. Aluminum Corporation of China (601600.SH) and China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (603993.SH) rose by 4% and 2.9%, respectively.

Commercial aerospace concept stocks continued to rise, with China Satellite Communications (600118.SH) and Aerospace Machinery (600151.SH) rising by 4% and 8.8%, respectively.

Robot concept stocks continued to rise, with Juwon Intelligent (002031.SZ) and Longxi Co., Ltd. (600592.SH) rising by 4.1% and 3.2%, respectively. AI glasses concept stock Doctor Glasses (300622.SZ) surged by 8.8%.

Leading chip stocks were slightly weak, with Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (688981.SH) and Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) down by 0.4% and 1.4%, respectively. Cambricon Technologies (688256.SH) denied rumors of increased AI chip production, with its stock price initially falling before rising by 1.7%.

Moore Threads (688795.SH) opened high on its first day of listing, up over 468%, priced at 650 Renminbi, reaching a high of 688 Renminbi, and soaring 416.8% to 590.59 Renminbi at midday
