Base–Solana bridge goes live: How it reshapes a $9.15B on-chain economy

Coinbase’s Layer‑2 network, Base, has officially integrated with the Solana ecosystem, enabling seamless transfers of SOL and other Solana assets across chains.This connection is powered by the new Base–Solana bridge, which utilizes Chainlink’s CCIP and runs on Coinbase’s infrastructure. With this upgrade, Base shifts from being just an Ethereum-focused L2 to a major liquidity hub.
