China's first fully operational adiponitrile plant solves key challenges in the nylon industry

Recently, the first industrialized production project of adiponitrile using the butadiene method in China—China Chemical Engineering Tianchen Qixiang New Materials Co., Ltd. has fully reached its production capacity of 200,000 tons/year of adiponitrile. Adiponitrile is the core raw material for producing nylon 66 and is referred to as the "throat" of the polyamide industry chain in the market. The realization of large-scale production of adiponitrile means that the downstream "bakeries" of the nylon industry will receive sufficient and high-quality raw material supply, effectively promoting the continuous development of high-end manufacturing fields such as automotive, rail transportation, aerospace, and electronics, ensuring the safety of China's high-end polyamide industry chain.
