From Shareholders to Cooperation: Allianz Investment and National Pension Launch First Collaborative Project

According to information from National Pension Insurance, the company has reached its first strategic cooperation project with shareholder Allianz Investment after increasing capital and introducing strategic investors. It is understood that the project is a one-stop solution with commercial insurance annuity products as the default configuration option, aimed at helping clients achieve cross-period financial planning and pension asset allocation. The project will integrate National Pension's digital pension planning service platform "Zhao Qian Sun Li®" with Allianz Investment's asset allocation capabilities; Allianz Investment's wholly-owned subsidiary in China, Allianz Fund, will rely on the global pension asset allocation capabilities of Allianz Investment's quantitative research platform, Risk Lab, to support the project's implementation. After the cooperation, National Pension will absorb and draw on Allianz Investment's global pension market experience while internally connecting and integrating the company's resources and capabilities in commercial insurance annuity products, account services, and portfolio trading. The launch of the first project marks a shift in the cooperation model between the two parties from a capital bond to business synergy; Previously, Allianz Investment invested CNY 284 million in National Pension in 2024, becoming its first foreign shareholder.
