According to a Reuters report citing an internal memo from JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US), the bank will issue special bonuses of up to $1,000 to employees worldwide with annual salaries below $80,000. The bank's CEO Jamie Dimon mentioned in the memo that employees must have worked for at least one year by December 31 of this year to be eligible for the bonus, which will be distributed early next year.

JPMorgan will provide the bonus to U.S. employees in the form of contributions to a 401(k) retirement savings plan, while employees outside the U.S. will receive the bonus in cash
