The Arctic Annual Climate Report released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on December 16 shows that the average surface temperature in the Arctic region will reach its highest level on record since 1900 during the statistical period from October 2024 to September 2025. The report states that the past decade has been the warmest 10 years on record for the Arctic region.
