Radiant Industries Inc., a nuclear energy startup in California, has raised over $300 million to commercialize its small reactor design. This Series D funding round was led by Draper Associates and Boost VC, with the company valued at over $1.8 billion. Radiant is developing a 1 megawatt (1MW) micro reactor that can be transported in a single container. Currently, the company has signed agreements to provide this technology to a U.S. military base and Equinix Inc. data center
