According to reports, CHOW TAI FOOK has raised prices on its gold products, with some products increasing by more than 30%
According to domestic media reports, Chow Tai Fook (01929.HK) has issued a notice on its official Tmall flagship store, indicating that some products will soon see price increases due to market factors. Considering the price hikes in March and October, this will be Chow Tai Fook's third price increase for fixed-price gold products this year.
The report states that the actual increase for some best-selling fixed-price gold products exceeds 30%, such as the approximately 27-gram "Five Emperor Coins Bracelet," which has seen its price raised from RMB 38,600 to RMB 50,800, an increase of 31.6%. Additionally, some sales personnel from Chow Tai Fook have posted price tags on Xiaohongshu showing that most products have seen increases ranging from 4% to 15%.
Chow Tai Fook stated in October that it plans to raise the retail prices of fixed-price gold products by the end of the month, with most products expected to see price increases of 12% to 18%. The group also indicated that it has a mechanism in place to closely monitor gold price fluctuations and will make timely price adjustments in response to market changes
