According to the Financial Times, Meta (META.US) Chief Artificial Intelligence Scientist Yann LeCun plans to initiate preliminary negotiations to raise €500 million for his startup Advanced Machine Intelligence Labs, increasing the company's valuation to approximately €3 billion.
LeCun recently announced that he will leave Meta by the end of the year. The report cites sources revealing that he has arranged for Alexandre LeBrun, the founder of French health tech startup Nabla, to serve as CEO
