Since the beginning of this year, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Chapter 18C special technology listing channel has suddenly "formed a long queue." According to statistics, only three companies, including Yuejiang, successfully landed on the Hong Kong stock market using Chapter 18C before 2025. However, since 2025, four companies, including WeRide, have successfully gone public under this rule, with the number of companies sprinting for IPOs through this channel reaching as high as 20, creating a "filing frenzy." The IPO boom brought by Chapter 18C is also expected to drive certain changes in the ecological landscape of the Hong Kong stock market. (Securities Times)
