Trump's cryptocurrency chief: The U.S. Senate will review the cryptocurrency CLARITY draft in January
David Sacks, the White House's AI and cryptocurrency director, stated that the highly anticipated "CLARITY Act" (Digital Asset Market Clearity Act) is gradually approaching legislation and is expected to be submitted to the Senate for debate and amendments in January 2026, followed by a full vote. According to Sacks, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott and Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman have confirmed that the Senate will finalize this bipartisan cryptocurrency bill next month. "We are closer than ever to passing the landmark cryptocurrency market structure legislation called for by President Trump. We look forward to getting this done in January!"
