Approval granted for reclamation projects in Area 137 and Area 132 of Tseung Kwan O

A government spokesperson stated that Chief Executive John Lee and the Executive Council have authorized reclamation works in the southwestern area of Tseung Kwan O's District 137, approximately 46 hectares, and in the southeastern area of approximately 55 hectares opposite District 132.

The proposed works in District 137 include the construction of approximately 1.7 kilometers of seawall; land reclamation to create about 20 hectares of land for housing and community facilities development; and the relocation of temporary facilities.
