According to reports, Paul King, director of the Paddington series and the prequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wonka, will direct a Labubu-themed movie.
Sony Pictures acquired the film adaptation rights for the Labubu IP under POP MART (09992.HK) last month, and subsequent market news revealed that the film will be co-produced by Department M and Wenxin She.
