
The Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway has officially opened for operation, integrating western Guangdong into the 90-minute living circle of the Greater Bay Area
On December 22, the newly built Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway (referred to as "Guangzhan High-Speed Railway"), constructed with the participation of China Railway Construction Corporation, commenced operations. With this, western Guangdong officially enters the era of high-speed rail at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The fastest travel time from Guangzhou Baiyun Station to Zhanjiang North Station can be achieved in 1.5 hours, greatly facilitating the travel of passengers between Guangzhou and Zhanjiang as well as along the route
