The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has launched an Intellectual Property Financing Sandbox in collaboration with the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and the Intellectual Property Department, aimed at assisting pilot industries in utilizing intellectual property assets for financing. BOC Hong Kong, HSBC, and Standard Chartered Hong Kong are among the first participants, attracting clients from the biotechnology, electronics, and technology sectors.
