Trump appoints envoy to Greenland, former US diplomat: Too outrageous!

Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen deemed Vance's remarks "unfair." The Prime Minister of the Greenland autonomous government, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, criticized Vance's visit as "lacking respect" for Greenland, asserting that Greenland is not for sale and has no intention of becoming part of the United States. Additionally, Danish media reported in August that at least three U.S. citizens closely connected to Trump and senior White House officials were engaged in secret infiltration activities in Greenland, attempting to incite Greenland to distance itself from Denmark and strengthen ties with the U.S. The Danish government summoned the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Denmark, Mark Stro, to demand an explanation. Prime Minister Frederiksen emphasized that any interference in Denmark's internal affairs is "unacceptable."
