Since the beginning of this year, the enthusiasm for insurance capital to increase stakes has been high. According to statistics, as of now, the total number of stake increases by insurance capital has reached 39 times this year, involving 14 insurance institutions and 28 listed companies. This figure is only lower than the historical peak of 62 times in 2015. In terms of investment targets, insurance capital prefers high-dividend stocks in industries such as banking, infrastructure, and logistics, as well as H-shares of listed companies.

Specifically, among the 39 stake increases by insurance capital this year, 32 were for H-shares of listed companies, accounting for over 80%, reaching 82%. There were a total of 13 stake increases for banks, accounting for 33%. At the same time, several stocks where insurance capital increased stakes, such as DATANG RENEW, BEIJING ENT, and SRBG, have dividend yields of over 4%. Some insurance companies have continued to increase their holdings after their initial stake increase in listed company stocks, triggering multiple stake increases for the same target.
