SAIC logistics unit Anji reaches 41 car carriers, 8 added this year

Join us on Telegram or Google News Anji Fortune commenced operations immediately upon delivery, the company said.To date, Anji's self-operated roll-on/roll-off fleet has grown to 41 vessels, serving routes across Europe, Mexico, the Persian Gulf, and Australia/New Zealand.By 2026, Anji's self-operated ocean-going annual transport capacity will reach 600,000 vehicles, the company said.SAIC sold 4.11 million vehicles from January to November, marking a 16.38 percent year-on-year increase, according to data released earlier this month.The company's exports and overseas base sales totaled 937,493 units during the same period, up 3.40 percent year-on-year.Anji serves as a key pillar in SAIC's overseas expansion, ensuring the stability, efficiency, and resilience of the group's global supply chain, the automaker said in a release today.Following the commencement of operations for Anji Fortune, the maritime network connecting China to Europe, the Mediterranean, and global markets will be further strengthened, SAIC noted.Beyond SAIC, BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) has also expanded its ocean shipping capacity this year.In late September, BYD Jinan, the company's eighth car carrier, was officially commissioned, completing the initial layout of BYD's fleet.
