According to Shanghai Metro, starting from the first train on December 27th, the initial operation of the second phase of Line 18 will commence. As a result, the total number of operational lines in Shanghai's rail transit network will reach 21, with the total operating mileage exceeding 900 kilometers for the first time, increasing to 906 kilometers, and the number of operational stations increasing to 523.
