Fake Coinbase support scammer allegedly stole $2M from users

An alleged scammer impersonating a Coinbase support worker has reportedly stolen around $2 million in cryptocurrency from users. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT identified the scammer, a Canadian, through social media and wallet transactions. The scammer used social engineering tactics to deceive users, offering fake customer support. Despite attempts to hide their identity, the scammer's lifestyle was exposed through social media posts. Users are advised to safeguard their private data, avoid sharing sensitive information, and contact customer support through verified channels to protect against such scams.
