The Macau Parisian Casino has transitioned from a satellite casino to direct operations under SJM Holdings (00880.HK). SJM Holdings' Chairman and Executive Director, Angela Leong, stated that after becoming a directly operated venue, the number of gaming tables has doubled to over 100, which can immediately enhance competitiveness. The remaining gaming tables that were reclaimed have been allocated to the group's other casinos.

Angela Leong mentioned that the Parisian's prime location, along with a robust operational team and model, makes it a strategically significant resource for SJM Holdings. In the future, they will better leverage the advantages of the Parisian property to attract more diverse travelers to Macau. Currently, it is expected that the Parisian can absorb the customer base from the original satellite venues in the area, with the number of gaming tables increasing from over 40 to over 100, while the number of employees remains unchanged.

As for why SJM Holdings ultimately did not acquire the Lisboa, Angela Leong stated that it depends on the company's own resources. The Parisian has potential and is more suitable for the group's overall layout, as it can immediately increase competitiveness. The decision not to acquire the Lisboa was not due to a single factor, and the new project at the Lisboa will continue to proceed
