China has the largest number of LED cinemas in the world
The latest data released by the National Film Administration shows that the total box office for movies in 2025 is expected to reach 51.832 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.95%, exceeding 9.3 billion yuan compared to 2024. The box office for the 2025 New Year film season exceeded 5.3 billion yuan, setting a new high in eight years. Among the 51.8 billion yuan box office, the box office for domestic films is 41.293 billion yuan, accounting for 79.67%. The evolution of Chinese cinema is supported by hardcore technology.
