Lenovo Group (00992.HK) Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing recently engaged in a dialogue with NVIDIA (NVIDIA)(NVDA.US) Founder and CEO Jensen Huang. The scale of cooperation between the two companies in the AI field has increased fivefold over the past few years, and Huang revealed that both sides are fully capable of achieving another fivefold increase in the next two years. Lenovo Group is currently up 2.2% at HKD 9.76, having previously risen 4.1% to a high of HKD 9.94, with a trading volume of 45.7484 million shares, involving HKD 450 million.

NVIDIA and Lenovo Group are jointly developing an enterprise-level AI system based on RTX Pro, with NVIDIA providing the most advanced chips for the project. Huang stated that this is a revolutionary server, and they are eager to launch related products and scale them in the enterprise market. It is reported that Lenovo Group is likely to disclose the technical details of this project at the upcoming Lenovo Global Innovation Technology Conference in a few days.

In addition, both Huang and Yang believe that the next stage of AI development will exhibit two significant trends: enterprise-level AI will become the core battlefield, and hybrid AI will be the key breakthrough point; AI will fully penetrate various fields of the real economy, bringing enormous market opportunities.

Huang believes that artificial intelligence is evolving from "generative AI" to "agent-based AI," achieving dual breakthroughs in reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, which brings more possibilities for the practical application of AI. The core trend of the next stage will focus on the enterprise-level market, specifically manifested as a deep integration of public cloud models and enterprise-customized open-source models. He also anticipates that hybrid enterprise intelligence will be integrated into various industries globally—high-performance computing, AI cloud, AI factories, industrial manufacturing, logistics robots, and other real industry scenarios, with Lenovo and NVIDIA covering all of the above scenarios
