NVIDIA has hired Google Cloud executive Alison Wagonfeld as Chief Marketing Officer, marking the Silicon Valley chipmaker's attempt to further enhance its brand influence and public image after establishing itself as the world's most valuable company.
According to an announcement posted by Wagonfeld on LinkedIn, she will officially leave Alphabet's Google in late January and subsequently join NVIDIA's leadership team under CEO Jensen Huang. She described this position as a new role overseeing marketing and communications, aimed at helping NVIDIA embark on the &#34;next phase of growth.&#34;
This personnel change comes at a critical time as NVIDIA seeks to reshape brand perception. Despite its artificial intelligence processor business driving a surge in revenue and propelling it to the top of the tech sector in the capital markets, its brand recognition still lags behind consumer giants like Apple and Microsoft. The 2025 Best Brands list released by Interbrand shows that NVIDIA currently ranks 15th.
