The S&P 500 reached an intraday record high as a weaker jobs report did not affect expectations for interest rate cuts. The Dow Jones rose 0.41%, S&P 500 up 0.62%, and Nasdaq up 0.76%. Top gainers included Sandisk Corp (+12.2%), Builders FirstSource (+11.0%), and Intel (+10.6%). Notable losers were Lululemon (-4.9%) and Deckers Outdoor (-4.4%). Gold miners gained on the jobs report miss, while various companies saw significant stock movements due to upgrades and earnings reports.
