
US stock market seven giants closing report | Tesla closed up 2.1%, Google A rose over 0.9%, Apple ended seven consecutive declines
On Friday (January 9), the Magnificent 7 index of U.S. tech stocks rose 0.46% to 207.87 points, with a cumulative increase of 0.70% for the week, showing a W-shaped trend overall.
Tesla closed up 2.11%, Meta rose 1.08%, Alphabet rose 0.96%, Amazon rose 0.44%, Microsoft rose 0.24%, and Apple rose 0.13%—ending a trend of seven consecutive trading days of decline, while NVIDIA fell 0.1%.
In addition, TSMC rose 1.77%, Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares fell 0.13%, AMD fell 0.74%, and Eli Lilly fell 1.99%.
The "mega" market capitalization tech stock index rose 0.82% to 394.95 points, with a cumulative increase of 0.09% for the week.
Aside from Tesla, Alphabet, AMD, Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Meta Platforms, and Amazon, Oracle closed up, Broadcom rose 3.76%, Salesforce fell 0.23%, Netflix fell 1.18%, Adobe fell 1.5%, and Qualcomm fell 2.25%
