Wu Xiaoqiu: The capital market should focus on the triple reform of the asset side, investment side, and institutional side
Wu Xiaoqiu, Dean of the National Institute of Financial Research at Renmin University of China and a national first-level professor, stated on January 10 at the 30th China Capital Market Forum that since September 24, 2024, fundamental changes have occurred in China's capital market, with market confidence gradually recovering and expectations stabilizing. In the next phase, the capital market should focus on reforms in three areas: the asset side, the funding side, and the institutional side. Wu Xiaoqiu also elaborated on the three pillars for developing the capital market: a sound rule of law, a high degree of contractual spirit, and market transparency. (Shanghai Securities News)
