Nokia and Hisense have reached a patent licensing agreement, ending all related lawsuits

DoNews reported on January 12 that on January 12, Nokia and Hisense Group announced that they signed a multi-year patent licensing agreement covering video technology last week, resolving all patent-related litigation in all jurisdictions worldwide.

According to the agreement, Hisense will use Nokia's video-related technology in its television products and will pay Nokia a patent licensing fee for this. This is the first patent licensing agreement reached between Nokia and Hisense, and the specific terms and amounts of the agreement will be kept confidential as agreed by both parties.

Nokia stated in its official announcement that the company is a leader in the development of technologies related to video compression, content delivery, and has accumulated over 5,000 related inventions over the past 25 years
