Germany's current account surplus narrowed to EUR 15.1 billion in November

Data from the German central bank shows that Germany's current account surplus in November 2025 was €15.1 billion, down from €18.8 billion a year earlier.

The goods surplus decreased from €19.2 billion to €12.7 billion, mainly affected by a 3.4% decline in exports and a 2.7% increase in imports; meanwhile, the secondary income deficit widened from €7.3 billion to €7.7 billion. In contrast, the primary income surplus slightly increased from €14.5 billion to €14.8 billion, and the services trade deficit decreased from €7.6 billion to €4.7 billion
