On Tuesday (January 13), in the European market's late trading session, the yield on the UK 10-year government bonds rose by 2.5 basis points to 4.398%, remaining in an upward trend throughout the day. When the US CPI inflation data was released at 21:30 Beijing time, it plummeted from around 4.4% to nearly 4.38%, hitting a daily low of 4.377% just one minute before the US stock market opened. The yield on the 2-year UK bonds increased by 0.3 basis points to 3.658%, also hitting a daily low of 3.641% at 22:29. The yield on the 30-year UK bonds rose by 3.1 basis points to 5.139%, stabilizing near the daily high of 5.145% recorded at 00:42; the yield on the 50-year UK bonds increased by 3.5 basis points to 4.650%.
