This marks the third vessel in their newbuilding initiative, built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. The M/T P. Marseille, initially known as Hull H1597, is a 114,000 Deadweight Ton (DWT) LNG-ready Tier III product/crude oil tanker. The vessel's naming ceremony, conducted at the shipyard, had Ms. Aliki Paliou as the godmother who bestowed blessings upon the ship, wishing its crew safe journeys ahead.
