The Trump Administration is reversing staffing cuts at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), reinstating hundreds of employees. This decision follows significant job cuts last year, which had left many workers in limbo. NIOSH, responsible for research to prevent work-related injuries, had seen around 875 of its 1,000 employees terminated. The reversal aims to enhance safety for coal miners and other workers, amidst concerns about the impact of previous cuts on worker safety.
