The Ford Motor employee who was suspended for shouting during President Trump's visit to a Michigan factory has received support from the national union. "This autoworker from the Dearborn truck plant is a proud member of the powerful and combative union - the United Auto Workers," said Laura Dickerson, the vice president responsible for the Ford department of the union organization, in a statement on Wednesday. "He believes in the principle of free speech, which we wholeheartedly support, and we will stand with our members to protect their right to speak at work."
