Netflix signs global agreement to stream Sony Pictures films after theatrical release
Netflix (NFLX.US) and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced on Thursday that they have reached a multi-year agreement, making Netflix the exclusive streaming platform for Sony Pictures films after their theatrical release and subsequent video-on-demand distribution.
The arrangement will begin to roll out gradually later this year, with a global full availability expected by early 2029 as rights become available in various regions. The two companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement
