<p>CHICAGO, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures closed lower on Thursday on reminders of plentiful global grain supplies, traders said.</p>
<ul>
<li>CBOT March soft red winter wheat  (WH26)  settled down 2 cents at $5.10-1⁄2 per bushel</li>
<li>K.C. March hard red winter wheat  (KWH26)  ended down 5 cents at $5.17-1⁄4 a bushel and Minneapolis March spring wheat  (MWEH26)  fell 4-1⁄2 cents to settle at $5.62-1⁄2 a bushel.</li>
<li>The International Grains Council raised its estimate of global 2025⁄26 wheat production to 842 million metric tons, up from 830 million seen previously, driven partly by improved outlooks for Argentina and Canada.</li>
<li>Lackluster export demand for U.S. supplies added to bearish sentiment. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported net export sales of U.S. wheat in the week to January 8 at 156,300 metric tons, toward the low end of trade expectations for 100,000 to 450,000 tons.  (EXP/WHE)</li>
<li>Euronext wheat futures edged higher, supported by an easing in the euro.</li>
<li>Saudi Arabia’s state grains buying agency issued an international tender to purchase around 595,000 metric tons of hard milling wheat.</li>
