Sun Yongcai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CRRC Group, stated that in 2026, under the overall organization of China State Railway Group, the CR450 high-speed train prototype developed by CRRC Group will undergo comprehensive operational assessment and design optimization, marking the entry of China's 400 km/h high-speed railway complete technology into the operational phase. The CR450 train set is the fastest high-speed train in the world, featuring characteristics such as enhanced safety, energy efficiency, and comfort. Not only the CR450 train set, but CRRC Group will also promote the operational assessment of the 200 km/h electric multiple units and 160 km/h diesel multiple units, advance the development and demonstration application of standard metro 2.0 vehicles, and push for the completion of various tests and finalization of the 20 MW offshore wind turbine "Qihanghao".
