On January 20, the Portuguese government announced that it held an investment contract signing ceremony with six companies: CALB, Everbio, Lift One, Savannah Lithium, Topsoe Battery Materials, and United PetFood, with a total investment amount of €3.077 billion and an incentive amount of €699.7 million, covering fields such as electric vehicles, healthcare, chemicals and petrochemicals, agricultural product processing, and mining. The statement mentioned that CALB's investment project is located in Sintra, Portugal. According to reports, the agreement involves CALB's lithium battery factory project, which has an investment amount of €2.067 billion, and the Portuguese government will provide a subsidy of €350 million.
