On the 20th, reporters learned from the National Water Conservation Office of the Ministry of Water Resources that according to the relevant goals of the National Water Conservation Office, by 2030, the water consumption per ten thousand yuan of GDP and the water consumption per ten thousand yuan of industrial added value are expected to decrease by more than 10% compared to 2025. A relevant person in charge of the National Water Conservation Office introduced that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, efforts will focus on high-quality development of water conservancy and ensuring the overall goal of water security in China, adhering to the implementation of detailed water-saving system policies. By 2030, the water-saving system policy framework will be more complete, the shortcomings in water-saving infrastructure will be basically addressed, the capacity for refined water-saving management will be significantly improved, the efficiency and effectiveness of water resource utilization will be significantly enhanced, and water budget management will achieve full coverage.
