On January 21, the latest data from the China Automotive Industry Association showed that in December 2025, the sales of pure electric large three-row SUVs reached 54,518 units, plug-in hybrid sales were 49,760 units, fuel vehicle sales were 38,123 units, and range-extended sales were 37,919 units. The sales of pure electric large three-row SUVs increased by 18% month-on-month, breaking the 50,000 unit mark for the first time in history, and ranking first among all power types for four consecutive months. In the second half of 2025, driven by Nio's new ES8 and Leado's L90 models, the sales of pure electric large three-row SUVs grew by 351% year-on-year, while range-extended sales decreased by 5.6% year-on-year.
