U.S. Air Force awards AIM $4.9M for autonomous base construction and RADR; AIM's AI platform enables fully autonomous operations for repairs and construction.
In REDMOND, Wash., AIM, the pioneering AI platform for heavy machinery, revealed it has secured $4.9M in contracts with the U.S. Air Force. These contracts are directed towards remote base and airfield construction and repair. The AIM platform is the world's first embodied AI system for heavy machinery, facilitating fully autonomous operations crucial for Rapid Airfield Damage Recovery (RADR) missions. By harnessing AI capabilities, AIM's platform allows heavy machinery to function autonomously, delivering enhanced speed and resilience. This autonomy enables machines to conduct repairs, construction, and maintenance tasks without the need for human supervision.
