The yield on the two-year U.S. Treasury rose by more than 2 basis points

On Thursday (January 22), at the New York close, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury rose by 0.40 basis points to 4.2469%. At 17:41 Beijing time, it refreshed the daily low to 4.2310%, then rebounded, reaching a daily high of 4.2747% at 22:55 (five minutes before the release of the PCE inflation data favored by the Federal Reserve). The yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury rose by 2.35 basis points to 3.6079%, accelerating upward since 20:00, refreshing the daily high to 3.6206% at 00:10; the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury fell by 1.64 basis points to 4.8457%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year U.S. Treasuries fell by 1.548 basis points to +63.881 basis points. The yield on the 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) rose by 1.90 basis points to 1.8804%, rebounding from below 1.86% after the 10-year TIPS auction results were disclosed at 02:00; the yield on the 2-year TIPS rose by 3.53 basis points to 0.9974%; the yield on the 30-year TIPS rose by 0.24 basis points to 2.5838%
