The "2026 China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Capacity Building Training Course and High-Level Seminar on Cutting-Edge Technologies and Governance of Artificial Intelligence" was held on the 23rd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. More than a hundred representatives from government departments, academia, and industry from China, Malaysia, and the ASEAN region attended to discuss cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence, security challenges, and more. Xia Zhehan, Director of the East Asia Regional Office of UNESCO, stated that artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping industrial forms, social structures, and global cooperation patterns, bringing opportunities while also triggering a series of deep-seated challenges.
